SIPS seeks to improve psychological science through action. These actions include:
- Committees for the management and performance of society service.
- Products created by SIPS members at the annual conference.
- Grants-in-aid to reduce barriers to improving psychological science and advance the SIPS Mission outside the confines of our annual conference.
- SIPS uses awards to improve psychological science, which can include: not giving awards, using awards to change the incentive structure, and/or drawing attention to things that are currently underappreciated and contribute to SIPS’s mission.
